Requirements

  • A Completed application form is required, which will include the church planter’s personal information and details about the church.
  • We require proper and accurate financial statements, a willingness to be financially accountable, and faithfulness to God’s mandate, operations, and finances.

Details and Deadlines

  • Application Review: We process application forms every 1st Monday of the month only
  • Application Feedback: After you submit your application, you will receive an email response about your application within 7 working days after the first Monday of the month.
  • Interview: If your application form gets approved, we’ll schedule you for an interview. In your interview, please be prepared to discuss your application and ensure you are familiar with your responses. Your finance administrator or volunteer may be needed in the interview to answer financial questions. We may also request additional information or documents to support our inquiries.
  • Final Decision: You will be notified of the decision regarding your application within 15 working days.
  • Onboarding: If you are accepted, CPF will schedule an onboarding zoom call with you and your finance administrator or volunteer to discuss the process of receiving and liquidating the monthly disbursements.

What if my application is rejected?

If your application is rejected, you will also receive an email from us confirming the status of your application.

Can I reapply?

You may reapply after a minimum of one year from the date the application decision was made.

How long does the partnership last?

The partnership typically lasts 6 to 12 months, depending on our assessment. However, it may be shortened if any policies of the Church Planting Foundation are not adhered to.

What are the possible reasons to discontinue partnership?

  1. Fraud, financial dishonesty
  2. Consistent failure to liquidate expenses consistently
  3. Deviance from orthodox Christianity and ministry
  4. Failure to comply with conditions set by CPF
  5. Failure to provide evidence of improvement after warning call

Can we apply if our church is already existing for more than 5 years but we feel it is still in its early stages?

No, churches with 6 or more years of existence are considered established by CPF and may not apply.

Does CPF require a financial return from the partner churches?

CPF does not require any financial return from the partner churches, but hopes to see these churches continue to help the vulnerable and give to God’s mission like supporting other ministries. If they want to give back to CPF and support other church plants, their gift will be welcomed.
